Suara Festival: Honoring Balinese Culture through Music, Art, and Knowledge

Suara Festival returns for its second year on May 13th and 14th to Nuanu with a special collaboration with the Balinese illustrator, Monez. Born and raised in Bali, this talented avant-garde artist plays joyfully with traditional Balinese elements to create the identity of Suara in 2023.

Suara Festival is a two-day independent cultural, arts, music & education festival celebrating Balinese culture and will take place on March 13 and 14, 2023 in Nuanu from 12:00 PM to 12:00 AM. The festival, which is focused on inclusivity and community building, aims to bring people from all walks of life together to share and connect. Suara Festival is open to everyone who wants to celebrate and learn about Balinese culture. Festival goers can expect a range of activities, including music performances, art installations, workshops, and talks.

The year’s programming features a carefully curated lineup of well-known, influential artists and up & coming talents: from Jazz to Soul, R&B to Rockabilly, and Singer-Songwriter to Ska. In addition to our fantastic musical lineup, Suara Festival ‘23 also features a diverse group of esteemed speakers. These individuals have dedicated their lives to making a positive impact on the world through their work, and their talks promise to be both inspiring and thought-provoking.

Suara is the dream of people inspired by the values reflected in the Nuanu Principles (the space features 9 areas of re-creation), and united in the pursuit of creating an ever-evolving regenerative living systems game. It integrates ecological harmony and community connectivity, bringing experiences to people, inspiring and joyful to solve social problems and a sense of culture.

Suara and Nuanu are creating a cultural space where diversity and inclusion are welcomed and celebrated.
